Michael Keaton, an American actor and producer, is best known for his role in Birdman. The actor is versatile who is able to play comedic and dramatic role. Through his professional career, the actor has performed a range of roles in romantic scenes and also appeared in action thrillers. As a teenager, he became interested in performing and acting. In his early years as a young adult the actor tried to become a stand-up comedian. It wasn't a great comedian, but it did pave the way for an acting career. Not able to achieve success as a comic, he took up a job as the TV cameraman at a cable channel. When he was working for the cable station, the cameraman realized the desire to work the camera. He was then able to secure the role on TV and also appeared in several episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was an innately talented actor, and quickly became a household name on TV. His comedic characters brought the actor fame and an impressive film career. As Tim Burton's Batman, he played Batman, the character of the identical title. He grew in his abilities as an actor and also moved into direction and production. In the film Birdman (2014), he received numerous awards and nominations.
